How to hold a regional (un)conference in my school / region?

How is an affiliated mini-EdCamp different from main and a special ones?
The team of the affiliated mini-EdCamp receives full informational, mentoring and consulting support, but is looking for financial means to hold the event independently.
The coordinator of such a regional (un)conference receives layouts of all printed products, as well as a specially designed logo. Only a brief information about the event is expected from the affiliated mini-EdCamp team.
The main mini-EdCamp is one that, in addition to informational and mentoring support, also receives financial funds and all printed products from EdCamp Ukraine. A brief report on the event and the use of funds (only the part provided by EdCamp Ukraine) is expected from the main event team.
Special events are dedicated to very specific topics and have one main donor — not the EdCamp Ukraine team.
The list of official events of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine includes all main events, affiliated events, and special events.

Is a certificate issued by EdCamp Ukraine NGO accepted as professional development under the new standard?
In the summer of 2020, the EdCamp Ukraine NGO introduced a new policy of standardization and certification of advanced training programs.
According to it, we issue two types of documents:
1) certificate of participation, with which EdCamp certifies that you participated in the project, but is not responsible for the level of knowledge, skills, competences you have acquired;
2) a certificate on the improvement of pedagogical qualifications, with which EdCamp confirms the improvement of qualifications, in accordance with the requirements of the CMU dated August 21, 2019 No. 800. To receive the certificate, you must fill out the final reflection form / complete the certification work.
Within 15 days after the event, in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Culture, we publish the register of certificates with all the necessary data on the website www.edcamp.ua.
Currently, the issuance of certificates for almost all EdCamp Ukraine programs is implemented through the EdWay platform https://edway.in.ua/uk/.
What do you need to get a certificate there?
1. Register.
2. Choose the desired program, submit an application and receive confirmation.
3. Complete training, complete certification work (or fill out the final form – conditions depend on the selected training program).
4. Upload your certificate to “My Account”.

What does EdCamp Ukraine NGO do during the war?
From February 24, 2022, EdCamp started work on initiatives designed to support Ukrainian men and women. We’ve chosen different formats so that everyone can join in as and when it’s convenient.

Are your events free of charge or paid?
We remind you that participation in all EdCamp projects remains free, as always! Attend any of our community events, gain new knowledge and share your experience.
If you want to receive a certificate of professional development certified by EdCamp, we ask you to register on the EdWay platform and apply for the document through it.
