How to hold a regional (un)conference in my school / region?
We have already finished selecting educational institutions for the “EdCamp in a Box 8.0” program. So now you can join regional events as a participant.

If you would like to host an (un)conference specifically at your own educational institution, keep an eye out for the opening of applications for “EdCamp in a Box 9.0” – expected around September 2024.
To prepare a strong application, you can use the book “Growing Together with EdCamp” from the publishing house “Shkilnyi Svit” (https://bit.ly/bookhowtoedcamp) and the open online course “How to host EdCamp for your community” from VUM-online (https://bit.ly/howtoedcampmooc).
How is an affiliated mini EdCamp different from main and special ones?
The team of the affiliated mini EdCamp receives full informational, mentoring and consulting support, but is looking for financial resources to hold the event independently.
The coordinator of such a regional (un)conference receives layouts of all printed products, as well as a specially designed logo. Only brief information about the event is expected from the affiliated mini-EdCamp team.
The main mini EdCamp is an event that, in addition to informational and mentoring support, also receives financial funds and all printed products from EdCamp Ukraine. A brief report on the event and the use of funds (only the part provided by EdCamp Ukraine) is expected from the main event team.
Special events are dedicated to very specific topics and have one main donor — not the EdCamp Ukraine team.
The list of official events of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine includes all main events, affiliated events, and special events.

Is a certificate issued by EdCamp Ukraine NGO accepted as professional development under the new standard?
In the summer of 2020, the EdCamp Ukraine NGO introduced a new policy for the standardization and certification of advanced training programs.
According to this policy, we issue two types of documents:
1. A certificate of participation, which confirms that you took part in the project, but EdCamp does not take responsibility for the level of knowledge, skills, or competencies acquired.
2. A professional development certificate for educators, which confirms the professional development in accordance with the requirements of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 21.08.2019, No. 800. To receive the certificate, you need to complete a final reflective form or certification assignment.
Within 15 days after the event, we publish the register of certificates with all necessary details on the website www.edcamp.ua, in compliance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science.
How can I get my certificate?
Currently, all activities that include certification are presented on the EdWay platform. There, you can check if your certificate has been generated and download it.
What do you need to do to get a certificate there?
- Register.
- Choose the desired program, apply, and receive confirmation.
- Complete the training and either do the certification assignment or fill out the final form, depending on the requirements of the chosen program.
- Download your certificate from “My Account.”

What does EdCamp Ukraine NGO do during the war?
From February 24, 2022, EdCamp started work on initiatives designed to support Ukrainian men and women. We’ve chosen different formats so that everyone can join in as and when it’s convenient.

Do I have to pay anything to participate in your events or for the certificate issued by EdCamp Ukraine?
Keep in mind that participation in all our projects is always free of charge.
Attend any events in our community, gain new knowledge, and share your experience.
During the war, we canceled the certification fee, so you can now receive your certificate for free.
If you would like to obtain a professional development certificate, we ask that you register on the EdWay platform https://edway.in.ua/en/ and apply for the certificate through it.
